How to measure your body

 **Tools You’ll Need**
- Soft measuring tape (flexible, not rigid)
- A mirror (optional, for checking tape alignment)
- Pen and paper to record measurements
- Wear form-fitting clothes (e.g., leggings and a tank top) or undergarments for accuracy.

**Key Body Parts to Measure**
1. Chest/Bust
  - Stand straight, arms relaxed.
  - Wrap the tape around the fullest part of your chest/bust, under the armpits.
  - Keep the tape parallel to the floor; don’t pull tight.

2. Waist
  - Find your natural waistline (above the belly button, narrowest part of the torso).
  - Wrap the tape around comfortably—don’t suck in your stomach.

3. Hips
  - Stand with feet together.
  - Measure around the fullest part of your hips/buttocks.

4. Inseam (for pants)
  - Measure from the inner crotch seam down to the floor (barefoot).
  - Alternatively, measure a well-fitting pair of pants from crotch to hem.

5. Sleeve Length(for tops/jackets)
  - Start at the center back of the neck.
  - Run the tape over the shoulder, down the arm to the wrist bone.

6. Neck (for collared shirts)
  - Wrap the tape around the base of the neck, leaving room for two fingers.

7. Thigh/Calf(for sport-specific gear)
  - Measure the fullest part of the thigh or calf.
